We have lots of exciting roles available for adults. If you’re interested in any of the roles below then make sure to contact us. All roles on our trustee board or working with young people come with training, all adults in the Group now were novices once!

Assistant Beaver Section Leader – supporting our leaders running weekly sessions

Assistant Cub Section Leader – supporting our leaders running weekly sessions

Assistant Scout Section Leader – supporting our leaders running weekly sessions

Skills Advisor – do you have specific skills which could contribute to a varied program across the sections?

Group trustees* – supporting the Group Scout Leader to make decisions and carry out administrative tasks to ensure that the best quality Scouting can be delivered to young people in our Group

Fundraising committee member – do you have experience applying for funding / grants? Are you prepared to help at fundraising events? Our group relies on fundraising to keep subs as low as possible and raise capital to fund the construction of Centenary Scout Hall

Event support

Field development & maintenance – there are lots of odd jobs that we need to stay on top of at Peckmill Scout Wood

Project management – developing plans for our new scout hut, supporting the build and installation of equipment on site

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
