Your Scout Group Needs You!

All scout groups are run by volunteers for the benefit of our children. Without the involvement of parents in both leader roles and in supporting roles, the group simply couldn’t function.

Take a look at the UK Scout Association’s #SkillsForLife campaign below to see what the young people (and adult volunteers) get from being involved.

Adult volunteers are the lifeblood of our Group. You decide what you want to do, and how much time to give. Scouts happens when a lot of us give a little (and no – you don’t have to be a Scout or outdoors expert to volunteer).

We’re always looking for keen people to share their skills and experiences with Davenham Scouts.

Appropriate training is provided for all roles, so if you’re interested in assisting with any aspect of local Scouting, please contact mike@davenhamscouts.org.uk, or complete the Join us form.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
