Beavers (Monday)

Beaver Scouts are our youngest members and are between the ages of 5 3/4 – 8. We meet weekly during school term-times to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, looking at the world we live in, challenges and adventures – which all help them to achieve their badges and gain confidence.

Day: Monday
Time: 17:30-18:45
Age: 5 3/4 to 8 years

We also take part in weekend events, such as those organised by Mid-Cheshire District Beavers. Our Beavers also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of sleepovers. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home, so it’s a real adventure for them!

If your child would like to join us, or you’ve got an interest in helping us out, then please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you! We are a very popular group and usually have a waiting list for places. When a space becomes available we offer it to the child who is next on the list according to a little formula based on their age and how long they have been waiting. Priority for a place can be offered if a parent/carer is able to join our merry band of volunteers!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
