Public Consultation on New Scout Hut Closes

Yesterday was the final day for public comments to be received by Cheshire West and Chester Council regarding our new Scout Hut. We are delighted to have received over 40 positive comments from individuals and likeminded community groups. 100% of the public comments posted reflected a positive opinion towards our application, a fantastic result!

Many thanks to everyone who took the time to write in their support; including Davenham Parish Council and the Davenham & Moulton ward councillors.

We expect Cheshire West and Chester Council to assign a planning officer to our application in 2023. They will make a decision whether to accept the plans after this. In the meantime, we will focus on delivering fantastic programmes for the young people in our sections and raising reserves to fund the construction of our exciting new hut.
