At 1st Davenham Scouts like all other Scout Groups, we are committed to providing a safe environment for young people to have fun and experience activities that might otherwise be unavailable to them. We provide a friendly, safe environment aimed at providing the right level of support and guidance for each scout and each activity. They enjoy taking part in the weekly meetings, the camps, hikes, kayaking and  many more things than we can list.

As with most voluntary organisations we depend totally on our Leaders, the Committee and all the Parents for support and involvement in all aspects. It is hard work but the rewards are priceless - for everyone, and especially for our children.

As from September 2011 our Subs Fees will be increasing from £22 to £25.  All Subs must be paid within the first two weeks of term starting

Our grateful thanks go to the Co-op community grant scheme for their generous donation of £2000 towards the purchase of a new trailer.

Introducing our new

Group Shirt

You can use this shirt for activity nights, camps fundraising ect. your leader will let you know when the shirts can be used instead of the official uniform.  Badges that your children gain that cannot be sewn onto their uniform, or special badges that have to be removed after a period of time can be put on this.  You can either purchase polo shirts, T-shirts, sweatshirts or hoodies from Julie Claire's on Northwich Market, but they do have to be black.

Our grateful thanks go to Mark Keeble for the wonderful job he has done of this web site.  Even though Mark handed over the site to Scouts at the AGM in January 2009, we still continue to use his vast knowledge for the further development of new pages.

Use these easyfundraising adverts to raise money for the Davenham Scout group.
